How we started
Having personally had difficulty in removing some ignition coils ourselves from a Yamaha MT10 during a routine service, we decided to design and manufacture a tool to make it easier and faster whilst avoiding consequential damage to nearby components. We designed Guvtool to fit 6 common brands with compact engine bays covering over a thousand models!
Our research showed that technicians and mechanics alike often have the same issue and are subject to using poor methods and tools such as vice-grips, pliers, pry-bars, screwdrivers and even pieces of string to remove their ignition coils! These tools can and do cause damage to the coil seal, coil head and often to surrounding components resulting in a costly and untimely repair or service.

Guvtool is specifically designed with safety and protection in mind as well as speed. Where rudimentary tools and methods take time to extract sticky ignition coils, Guvtool saves time and effort.
